Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how to cancel your BookSharp subscription and when refunds apply. It sits alongside your statutory consumer rights, which it does not affect.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time, either from your dashboard or by emailing Keith@booksharp.ie. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to the service until then.
Subscription refunds
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period when you cancel mid-month, unless a refund is required by law. If you believe there are exceptional circumstances, contact us and we will consider a goodwill refund on a case-by-case basis.
One-off setup fees
One-off setup fees (for example, the website build on the Website and Full Presence tiers) cover labour. Once work on your setup has begun, these fees are non-refundable.
Domain renewals
Annual managed-domain registrations and renewals are paid to the registrar on your behalf and are non-refundable once the domain has been registered or renewed.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law. Where those rights give you a stronger entitlement than this policy, those rights prevail.
